The project involved strenuous field surveying conditions such as thick brush, steep mountainous terrain, and remote locations. Many monuments were set in solid rock requiring special equipment. Some corners were very remote and inaccessible by vehicle, yet too far and difficult to reach by foot, necessitating that surveyors were brought in by helicopter.
Tasks provided on the project includes:
- Field surveying using GPS technology to tie in survey monuments and property lines
- Easement boundary corner monumentation
- Survey control at remote sites
- Checking and setting construction stakes
- Laying out access roads and other improvements
